patch adams

yay! i spent almost the whole day at home! came home after giving my nephew tuition... then i was so lazy to step out of the house again... so watched tv.. well. alot.
so after having lunch in front of the tv, i sat down to read this book "secrets about men every woman should know".. then after that fell asleep on the sofa.. which was suddenly so comfortable. woke up in perspiration. decided i should watch "patch adams" which i borrowed from esplanade library. and so i did.

gosh. my tears practically flowed when his female friend died and he was struggling with the loss.. and also when he was facing the medical board trying to convince them about his passion and his views on being a doctor, the kids whose lives and hearts he has touched by befriending them with his characteristic clown nose he uses to cheer them up came to support him by putting on that red nose. sigh. really touched my heart.

well, guess it's pretty true. the things about doctor, how most of them become cold-hearted and forget the meaning of their profession. a doctor should be a trusted and learned friend, not someone who must be treated like a royalty.

heh, alright. yay! harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban is out on 4th june! no way am i not catching that!
