ten tenors

yeaps, went for the ten tenors concert... sat at the side of circle 2. my dad was commenting that it's less restricting on movements, well, that's just because he is sitting at the very last seat, which was so close to the middle. but then again, i didn't really mind the seat.

about the music.. heh, their Bee Gees medley reminded me of the attempts of my batch's choir guys trying to sing "Stayin' Alive" in the choir room. hahaha! there was this guy with long hair whose falsetto is just, well, nice and pure, and energised. What i really like is their voices, how it blends and also how they are all soloists, each with such different tone colour. I have never heard for myself such wonderful tenor sound. one of them can reach up to a high C (one octave above middle C) without switching to falsetto. :)

what i don't really like about the concert is that the music gets too jarring at times too. guess the concert hall isn't such a good place for such loud music, esp for "rock band" music... the drums and cymbals... so sometimes it just keeps going "boom boom boom". i was expecting acappella from them, but they didn't la. so that makes them classical pop singers.

whatever it is, i enjoyed myself! haha! should have gone for the one at the theatre..
