my sis is back! with loads of chocs and other stuff... but i shan't disclose what she bought. :) wells... it's great having her back!
 
was at the airport a few hours ago... eagerly anticipating the arrival of vjchoir and seeing sandy, ah tong and ah zhan ahha. :) crapping at the airport with toh chong ping was great haha. we were thinking of ways to make the reporter who was there to interview nelson to notice us. and maybe do a write-up on vc.
 
terr (to sandy):  you shall go behind the reporter... and i'll go "hey! you are the president of victoria chorale right? heard you all got 2nd n 3rd placing for the choir olympics right! congrats!!!! "

okie, time to blog about the eighty-8 concert by piano ensemble held on 17th july.
 
it was fine... personally i felt the standard dropped. way too far. members are performing.. and playing, for the sake of playing the notes.. and getting over and done with the performance.  they were not communicating to the audience, and apparently, not to each other as well. 2 piano pieces are meant to be played, not with each pianist glued to their own score and piano.. but to each other as well.. giving cues, feeling the harmony of the notes, feeling the communication with ur partner. breathing the music together. performers, are musicians. and musicians convey the music to the audience.  YOU ARE NOT MACHINES! sigh. i dunno what the future of the PE will be like. previous batches of seniors never fail to help out when needed. will the present batch feel the same way towards the PE? i dunno.

caught brotherhood and spidey(finally) on monday with my parents... brotherhood.. as i told eugene.. was gross. all the explosion scenes i just shut my eyes. i was shivering through the movie, not only just because i was cold, but also cos of the gory scenes. other than that, it was a great tear-jerker, i was trying hard to hold back the tears, cos it's so malu to go out of the cinema sniffing... and tearing, so! to those people who feel touched easily, and are emotional and throw themselves so much into a movie's plot, maybe u shd wait for the dvd. :)
 
spidey was funny. action-flick... and well.. go see if u haven't! 'nuff said! :)
