the return

the return... a movie about 2 brothers, struggling to understand their father who came back after an absence of 12 years. they went on a trip... the boys wanted to go fishing.. the dad had some business to do. halfway through the show, admist all the constant bickering between the stubborn vanya (youngest son) and the domineering father, a sudden twist occurs. I WENT INTO A SHOCK. it happened too fast. too fast. don't the boys feel the guilt? the father taught them so many things. they learnt how to survive. yet.. the father just cannot seem to return to the world of his boys.. who need care and concern..cos he isn't the kind of man to do that. instead, he returns, after a 12 years absence, back to his own world.

like the guy sitting behind me said after the show, "I still have this big question mark in my head.."

yea man.. i agree. nonetheless. GREAT SHOW. blew me off.
