life...

is full of surprises.

one day.. we might be well and good, the next day we might be struggling to live.

went to hospital. hmm, a friend went for knee op yest.. so a group of us went to visit him. he's fine.. i m just bothered by what i saw in the hospital.

first time in the "old" hospital.. i saw how harsh reality can be. how some people may be struggling to live. on tubes. no one to visit. u can be so helpless that ur loved ones don't know what to do to make u feel better. no one to visit u. u are alone. worse still, u see others with so many people visiting them.. and no one visits u. how would u feel?

as a doctor. they have to go on rounds to meet the patient's needs. to find ways to make them feel better. u are always on ur toes. on alert. u need to give so much to the patients. to all. they all need the doctor. a doctor who understands.

life. we are sitting and lazing around in the comforts of our home... and there are thousands others, struggling to survive. near us. and some of us are complaining about the shit we have to go through in our daily lives, some mundane stuff that just didn't go their way, some shit from their bosses, how tired they are. ... how much they want to get out and get on with life,...

why, when u feel like complaining about ur life, think about those who are not complaining about theirs, when they have so much to complain about.

we are all blessed with a healthy body, mind, soul. shouldn't we make full use of it, instead of harping on life's unfairness.
