husky voice! me!

shouted once and i went hoarse. and i couldn't sing after that. now i understand why people like terrence told me that they "lost their voice" cos it's an occupational hazard.

agree... occupational hazard when u're teaching a bunch of disrespectful and playful kids who are generally kind-hearted but they miss their previous instructor so much... they just want him bacK! sigh.

went to watch vienna boys' choir perform at the esplanade today... they are actually... pretty good... i thought they were flawless... so when i first heard them, it was kind of disappointing at first... then slowly.. their vocal production is really good.. it's either them or the hall.. but it's good. their soloist.. oh man. rings. their voices RING...

i miss singing.

their mini children's opera is about 2 boys being bored, found their great x8 grandfather's chest and went on a journey back to his time... where they became pirates with others.. and found a treasure.. which was a recipe.. for.. potato chips.

i love their encore piece. "chan mali chan". oh man. their encore piece was much nicer than their programme pieces.. prolly cos it's mainly in 2 parts i think.......... the very first song was a double choir work for 4 parts .... yeayea. :)

ok.. that pretty sums up today. if u see me on the streets and i don't talk.. it prolly means i havent recovered from my hoarse voice... and that's bad cos i can't eat biscuits.
