the constant soreness that I am experiencing due to my toothless situation now is nothing compared to the pain and grief felt by everyone earlier today, and since Sunday morning.. due to the death of my aunt.
My first hand experience in this chinese custom, the reading of the buddhist scriptures, the grief, the pain, the tears, of losing someone close to us all. The relatives, abundant. The rituals, long yet solemn. The wait, the cremation, the sudden grappling news that we all had to handle when we were already on our way back, yet we could not see her. By the time we got to the hospital, she was already wrapped up in white cloth.
i didn't know i can't control my tears well. the welling of emotions deep down inside, i see my other aunts, my dad, my uncles, my mum, everyone... my grandma even, no words can describe the pain deep inside. yet we all console ourselves in that she'll be free of all the suffering she experienced...
oh wells. enough bout that....
i can eat rice already! haha... i can't chew vegetables.. i spent about 10 minutes eating a slice of pear... but the wound still feels sore.
