in the comp lab again....

:) i guess i'll use the comps in the lab till i finally get my network cable by tmr latest.. :)

i have enrolment later.. so wells, i still have time :) there's a library talk later and most of us are going for it! haa..

anyways, let's see..

Tuesday 15th Feb:

i was really homesick. i unpacked some stuff, and i saw and read those messages, especially from my sis.. and i started to miss her so much that i cried. i was scared that i couldn't manage everything.. the school didn't seem inviting enough... and i was the only one on my floor... i felt real lonely, plus with the tiredness, i started thinknig about a lot of things and i broke down... pretty easily and pretty often. my dad's friend brought us around Chinatown... and i have to say, i was too tired to look at the scenery.. but i was so tired that i fell asleep once i was back in the room...
THe seniors at IH also helped... there's Patrick and Kim from KL.. really nice people.. :)

Wednesday 16th Feb:

woke up and went down town ... instead of walking to town like on tuesday which takes about 30-40 mins... we decided to take a tram.. it's freaking ex... 5.90 for a daily ticket... sigh. i can't believe it. so we bought some stuff like hangers.. and cup... then we went back for dinner... and then we went off to the Night Market at Queen Victoria Market, which only happens on wed night till next week... :) really cool i tell you! the music was great.. with all those bands... there was a percussion one... and THERE WAS A GUY USING THE POWERBOOK TO PERFORM! haha.. i was so amazed that i took a photo of him ahhaha.. with the powerbook of cos.. and i was so happy that i found the Apple Centre in town.. :) whee..... i felt much better about being in Melbourne.. and not so homesick anymore... so far there's Yingyi, a girl from Singapore, HCJC on MOE Scholarship... doing Arts... and Neina, from Bangkok, doin media and comms... and Nicole from HK, doing a double degree in sci and arts... it's an all girls floor and we're still waiting for the rest to move in. sigh. :)

Thursday 17th Feb:

went school for some international students briefing and almost fell asleep.. mag fell asleep and it was so hilarious cos all of us singapore med female students were looking at her hahahaahha... =x... ok.. yea... before that we met up and went to Mag's place at College Square, which is an apartment that she's sharing with another girl doing vet sci... it's pretty far... and then we walked over to IH to get our lunch before walking to school again. went down to town, Target Centre and "the reject shop" with Hui Zhuan, Xing Ning and Jia Wei (All from RJ.. see...) to shop around for some stuff and we walked back to IH FROM THE CITY... with our shoulders aching. ahha.. came down for dinner.. (i bought dineer back for my mum cos dinner at IH for her will cost 10 bucks)... then Houston, Ding, HuiZhuan and me brought this girl from Japan on an exchange program around.. :) WE WALKED TO SCHOOl.... and then realised no food for her.. then walked up from Swanston street to lygon street.. :) ahha... pretty cool stuff there... lots of eateries... and we couldn't find the gelati there ahha.. :) THEN we met Mag and went college sq to let Houston and Ding and the Jap girl check out the apartment style accommodation and we WALKED Back to IH ... walking past the cemetery.. :) which, according to Mag, looks quite friendly ahha... yups..

so it was a DAY OF LOTS OF WALKING.. like i was telling HuiZhuan... we're all going to be walkers.. walk everywhere. cos it's too near to take the tram and it's not quite erm, cheap to... and everywhere just isn't too far nor too near.. so just walk loh. :) good exercise anyway.. and increases the bowel movements.. haha...

there's this 2nd year med student who was telling us who were takling in the toilet at Clunis (the building which i stayed in) that during her anatomy prac .. they cut open the chest of a cadaver... a female in her late 40s.. and she had breast implants :O ahahaha..

alright i think ibetter go look for mag and huizhuan to attend the lib talk.. :)

more updates once i get online in my room! :)

if u want my contacts.. please email me! :) thanks!
