busy but no so busy sunday

woke up and met jielin for "gym"... lazy me walked on the threadmill for 30mins... as in. BRISK walk.. yups.. then got off the threadmill with wobbly legs...

i never like threadmills. hm.

then got on the cycling machine.. and cycled for a while before having flashbacks on the last time i did that in the gym and gotten giddy for a while ... bad experiences told me i shouldn't do too long.. so i got off and started exploring the weights machines.. and then... got a bit bored.. .and did sit ups.. and realised i can't do a lot.. .(shit).. and got on the leg lifts.. and also did the rowing thing :)

then that was it. woohoo. then passed ravind my thumbdrive of damien rice songs.. and then went safeway with him.. and then got back to IH, bathed, and had brunch! :) then headed down to ballieu lib with yingyi before shifting to brownless lib..

and.. someone else in IH has gotten the chickenpox. poor jac. ah wells. bad luck. weird though.. so yea.. -_-... apparently anyone who caught the virus from the originators will get the virus within this week or something.. i am tested immune though. whee!

had dinner out with yingyi :) Ying Thai 2.. :) had pad thai.. and green curry chicken.. yum. i love thai food. promised yingyi to bring her to try out the desserts back in sg.. woohoo.. haha.. the chorale days huh! ;) where we used to order loads of red rubies and banana fritters.. and take up one whole row of tables :)

was walking back with yingyi and we talked and i mentioned i want to blog about something that we said .. i just can't remember exactly what though. hm. yea.

anyways.. we were just saying how we're here... it is not home ground.. because we aren't brought up here. we have this privilege to come out of our comfort zone.. and to get to know ourselves more.. i think that is a chance we all have to cherish.. we cannot expect to feel the same way as we feel in singapore. so we were talking about how we have realised what are our weak points.. and what we thought to be good points.. like.. we are both very much individualistic people.. in a sense that we do not expect to accomplish tasks in huge groups.. and we feel that we can handle about everything that comes in our way.. ; we do not whine and not want to walk around alone without being seen with a friend... ; in a way independent.. like what we thought we are in singapore. but now, being placed in a foreign place.. we have come to realise that sometimes, that is hard to be.. and that it takes alot more to be independent and strong. :)

and we talked about some other stuff. which i can't remember. sigh. memory block. too much sodium channels blockers. ah wells. crap.

anyways. came back and threw my laundry in the washer.. and realised that i have CHOIR! i was contemplating whether to go for it.. and then realised "ah.. might as well...".. i was questioning my committment.. something which i did not question before. so i'm wondering what it is that is making me think twice about going for choir prac.

BUT I NEVEr ReGRET going for prac. :) learnt this gospel arranged by the music tutor :) it's nice! "sweet spirit" :) ah. LOVIT! i mean.. Love It! :)gospels. just when i'm in the gospel music mood haha..

okays. i'm suppose to study.. cos stupid weiyong challenged me to see who can finish the lecture faster. cos we happened to be doing the same chapter. OKAY. i cannot lose.woohoo.
