first opera experience

and it was at a small theatre, in south yarra, St. Martins Theatre. :)

watched "Marriage of Figaro" by the Melbourne city opera. finally caught this opera.. heard many familiar tunes... those that i accompanied last year during the voice concert by Ms Jeong.. yeaps. we got C reserve tickets (aka cheapest ones, 25 bucks).. and since it's a small theatre, in a normal concert hall, the seats we got would have been A reserve tickets :)

first one to start my series of concert/musical/opera watching spree heh. LOADS next sem.. with "kiss me, kate", "sunset boulevard", "oklahama!", "cabaret", "dirty dancing".. :) woohoo. have to find work man. or not eat. yeaps.

everything's getting colder. weather. drinks left on my table. pen. metallic stuff. fingers. toes. heart. brain.

last night's drinking session in the JCR was crazy. really crazy. i didn't drink much. only had a small plastic cup of absolut citron+ice tea+lemonade.. and i turned red. even my arms and my feet were red. the IHers were like.. "oh.. jiahui! u're so red!" i'm like.. "no i onlyhad a cup!"haha.. then i had half a bottle of heineken cos eddie was like "okay jiahui, u scull as much as u can, then i finish the rest." and kaiyau beside was like.. "okay. i help also.." but it's nice! ahha.. would have wanted to enjoy it though :) but anyways! drinking too much ain't good. not gonna say it here. it's not me don't worry but some people got really "wasted" (aka knocked out/pissed drunk).. and help was enlisted to get those people either back to somewhere safe or back to their rooms.. :)

they should teach us how to handle emotional unstable people.
