was reading some Health practice stuff... weird lah. got commented by someone "nobody reads HP!!!"
anyways. the old chinese character "listen" highlights all of the elements involved in listening. i was intrigued by this... and i do believe that it is true... :) just to share with u guys... a quote from Lao Tze:
"It is as though he listened and such listening as his enfolds us in a silence in which at last we begin to hear what we are meant to be"
use not only your ears, but also your eyes, heart and listen with undivided attention, to anyone who's talking to you.
i realised that i never knew how to listen to anyone till like now. in a sense, i was told by my friend that i never looked at the person who's talking to me. i had the habit of looking away/ at another thing (behind the person) whenever someone's talking to me. ever since, i have been wanting to change this silly habit of mine.. it worked. wells. okays :)
OKAY i am not being coherent.. but blogging on allen's comp in the dining hall with a lot of other IH-ers around me isn't the best environment to put my thoughts on my blog. yeapsssssss. okays. ed's msn is flashing. i shall go off. AH.
oh yes. studying in the library is fun when u have people like weiyong who will keep on bombarding u with questions and help u recollect your memory on stuff you have studied. u will either emerge more confident or discouraged that whatever you have studied didn't embed in your "shallow" mind. haha..
back to hp.
