darkness.

as darkness falls
i close my books
and flip open
"calvin and hobbes". :)

calvin tells hobbes "getting is better than having. when you GET something, it's new and exciting. when you HAVE something, you take it for granted and it's boring."

then hobbes says "but everything you GET turns into something you HAVE."

and calvin says smilingly, "that's why you always need to get new things!"

hobbes replies sadly "i feel like i'm in some stockholder's dream."

while calvin says excitedly "'waste and want'. that's MY motto."

hobbes stressed calvin by asking calvin some questions about school work that calvin cannot remember. as calvin is stressed out, hobbes stays by his side, and promises not to be a stress-induced catalyst. calvin, out of curiosity, asked hobbes.. "why are u so nice to me?".. but hobbes failed to give an answer.

when will hobbes give an answer?
