though i don't know the exact meaning to the lyrics of this beautiful operatic duet from Lakme, i still love it very much. and to my greatest joy, Lakme is showing in Melbourne! :) Shall take this chance to catch this opera that I have never had the chance to catch before... and see what it actually is all about. english subtitles are provided! whee.
loads of friends over in Sydney now... okays, not loads. but i know of 3 groups of people there! hopefully krispy kremes beckons.. though they will be invading Melbourne in May, i still can't wait! :) we did mention- one donut for everyday during swot-vac. yum. maybe we should have that instead of chocolate bars during brekkie.
on another note. STRONG WINDS each night in Parkville, Melbourne. *shivers* it's not the cold-biting wind, but still.. scary to hear the rustling of the leaves of the trees... seeing the branches of the trees sway and sway....
my coughing should be stopping SOON. whee. i can't wait to be NORMAL again. was so happy when i could speak a bit louder today.
