of endless chatter

it's been a great evening out.

thank you shihan, ellen and xiaowen for making the night so special.

it is always heart warming to know that even though we are leading very different lives in our respective fields of study, having different groups of friends... that whenever we meet up, it is still possible to just sit down and laugh over little things, and just catch up ... for... 3+ hours. it makes me feel as though we never really left each other's sides. that when the world is ever changing, when people change, sometimes, the friendship just stay that way as it was.

i still remember sitting together in class, going home together... the falling flat on the face incident that we all still remember and laugh about each time we meet up or pass by eastpoing... :) a lot of things.

and as i was telling shihan, who dreams of having grandkids by 50 =x.. that hopefully, we can still do this when we are 50...

so these 2 days have been a reaffirmation (yearly one) of friendships made years ago. it's something that i will cherish. to have a friend who shares similar values, who understands you and your family... and you know that while you part and go back to your life, that they will be there to share with you no matter how long the silence has been... and it is always comfortable being with them. always.

so here's to: shihan.. for knowing me since primary 3... to william for knowing me since p4... to ellen and xiaowen for knowing me since sec 1. and thank you for being part of what i felt were the best years of my schooling life so far :)
