went for their concert last night with owen and my sis... it was definitely worth more than the 5 bucks we paid for student price!!! and there were, as usual, giggly and impatient students who filled VCH... irritating handphones ringing through the hall, though soft but still annoying... but....
THE QUINTET WAS FABULOUS! other than a few shaky notes... it was almost a flawless performance! well.. to me at least! :) the flow of music, the blend of 5 voices... the theatrics they included in the gimmicky songs in the second half... not to mention the clean shaven look of the performers who just made me want to check out their website. :)
and... i found out that TWO of them studied medicine! okok, other than the fact that they are all the alumni of the prestigious St. Thomas Boys' Choir from Leipzig, Germany (the choir which had JS Bach as its music director in the baroque period)... they all look ... good. :)
haha.. yann was "bombarded" with my "interest" in the ensemble heh... hahaha... anyway.. they are real good... and i don't think i can find their CDs in any store.. i'm going to try... cos i only have the "pop" songs one.. and will get the christmas album from owen... i wanna get their german madrigals and other funny songs! :(
alright... wish me luck in teaching o level emaths... cos i really need to revise my work man.

if i (who was a permanant fixture in maths r) can teach o'levels A maths, u can teach e maths one!!!
