i received a call today before i went out to meet owen from the ABRSM office. My diploma result has arrived from the UK and is ready for collection. I was immediately stunned. and i was worried. really worried. my eyebrows were furrowed (is that the correct word?) and i had this really worried expression on my face on my way to the MRT station to meet owen.

the whole exam just came flashing back. i don't remember anything good about it. so that was a bad thing.

went straight to the ABRSM office when i reached city hall, and took the envelope that says "Certificates - Do not bend". so i felt a bit better. maybe i did made it afterall! and then i read the first part of the letter that was inside the envelope.

"dear Teo Jia Hui, Please find enclosed a mark form and certificate confirming hat you have been successful in your Diploma examination. Your result has been ratified by the Diploma Board and you are now entitled to append the letters LRSM to your name.... etc"

i was SO relieved.

i passed!!!! by 2 marks haha. the passing mark is 40%. ;) this is such a fluke. I did so badly and i am still able to be a Licentiate holder.

i'm happy and thankful but definitely not proud to say that I'm a LRSM holder. :) Guess i'll keep on improving!
