3rd day in school

tuesday was mad because we had to rush from one lect theatre to the other.. and they are like 2 streets away.. freaking stupid lah. went to the student health services clinic in the morning to have another blood test for hepatitis A, B and C and HIV and syphillis antibodies done... waited for some time before being attended to cos the receptionist told me to come for walk-in clinic when my other friends managed to make an appointment oh wells. :) so the nurse who took my blood sample, seeing the bruise on my left arm, said, "oh, it's bruised there.. let's take it from the other arm" so yea. :) i'm crossing my fingers that there'll be nothing peculiar about the results when i get them tmr.

had an 8am lecture this morning. haha.. OH MAN i tell u it's NOT FUN to have such early lectures. there's another one tmr too. URGH it's stupid. cos we have 8am lect till 9am tomorrow.. and that's it. i'm not in prac group 2 so i don't have prac tmr. but there's vaccination for us tmr... so yea. but it's at 1pm. and there's commencement dinner tmr.. so girls have to be "appropriately formal" while guys have to wear jacket and tie... with our academic gowns. ahhaha.. i would very much like to see what it's like.

yeaps. had my first Introduction to Clinical Medicine (ICM) tutorial today... the best thing that happened was that even though it was stated that my ICM group is group 1.. my name wasn't on the attendance list that my tutor had. oh man. sigh.i can't believe my luck man. anyways... the whole tutorial was just introducing ourselves, voicing our opinions, and we had a role-play with the tutor. the tutor acts as a patient who's at a doc's clinic and a volunteer will talk to the "patient", asking questions, etc... and we were to access our friend, and we discussed about what she did to show that she was actually listening to the "patient", and how to communicate effectively to the patient. it's really fun to learn stuff this way.. so i do hope that i will pluck up enough courage to speak out. i mean. i have to cos it's part of my assessment! :)

sooooo after that we went to the library! :) and i borrowed a book and came back to photocopy the whole book! :) well done right.. thanks to Mr Ong and VTC, i know how to use photocopiers! and do copies that are from single-side to double side, making 2 pages into one A4... hehs.. :) so i spent around 20mins doing 90 sheets of copied paper. whee. i'm suppose to help the others too. yea. haha. :)

so yea. :) i think that's a lot of stuff typed out. i'll try to update as frequently as i can.. but no promises though. workload piling up! i'll have my ICM field visits soon... we're suppose to visit a clinic/hospital and see how the docs communicate with their patients. and i have to travel to richmond, keilor and fitzroy. not that i know where it is. sigh. luckily they are like in the afternoons.. so i don't have to wake up early to catch a tram/train/bus. :) wish me luck!

i hope dinner's good later. ;)
