break no enough

approaching the end of the break....

ah. we all need a longer time to rest!

haven't been doing much other than trying to study, completing my PBL... getting stressed over too much stuff to read... but some how or rather, it doesn't feel as if there's a lot of stuff done. well, other than feeling the pinch of buying stuff. bought this wet-wipe cleaner.. for 9 bucks. a metal kettle. some more indomee. hupseng biscuits :). 2 tops. (hee) and i am eyeing this mango top here. AH.

i'm still darker than my seniors who went to gold coast and back. hmm weird isn't it? :)

OH... and the school is crowded during the Easter break! amazing. and there's this friend of mine whom i never did see around college and then when i saw him for the first time during this break he told me that he has been staying in IH all the while.. and i never saw him at meal times. hm. WEIRD lah.. so many people cooped up in their room studying. ok.. i have been doing that but at least i go down for breakfast! :)

talking about breakfast, had a fun breakfast yesterday morning.. sat together with a few singaporeans and malaysians and the architecture tutor, a malaysian who studied in singapore. my goodness man.. he sings with AC alumni. but anyways! we were just talking about how small singapore is. it's like when people say they're from malaysia, the next question will be "which part of msia?".. but if someone says he/she's from singapore, if we ask which part of singapore, it's like really weird question. we were also laughing over stereotyping of students from particular schools.. like those from AC breed are like elitist, snobbish... etc... and those from RJ are like.. those intellects... the tutor was just saying.. "there's this saying, Raffles may rule the country, but AC owns it".. or something like that. :) pretty true!

trying to study for a test on monday.. which is something like a GP test. they gave some sample of the test questions for us to prepare on.. :

"what is meant by the professional culture of medicine? explain using examples"
"do medical students have the same ethical obligations as doctors? use examples to explain your answer"

yups. this is the module called "health practice".. each time we go for the lectures, we feel as if we're being brainwashed.

during the tutorials of this module, we were told to come up with "society's, patient's, doctors' expectations of doctors."

weird huh? ;)

i miss school. and i can't wait for next week to come. i just wished that we have more time to study and rest though.

drinking loads of fruit juices. ate 3 pears in one day yesterday. madness. eating indo mee too. YUM! pod's are good too.. grew sick of tim tams ... i still have serene's arnott's shapes biscuits. :) hmm and chocolates. hmm. yumyum.
