interviews....

so much emphasis on interviews...

had one this morning, like the role-plays that we do for ICM... to teach us how to communicate with patients....

had another one when i got back to IH for tutorials at night... with the tutor, JK, playing a really amusing role of a greek woman... everyone had 3 mins of time to interview the patient.. and i was like the second last person as they were going around the table... altogether 12 of us... goodness man... ran out of qns to ask! so just crapped along... the minute i sat down on the chair.. my tutor went.. "you look like nice doctor, give me some medicine for my back pain. tell me how to make it better.. "

i was like.. ".. huh?" haha.. no lah.. i just replied politely that i'm just a first year medical student... and he went .. "medical student, doctor.. all the same.. all end up doctor.. can you help me?"

"no.. first year medical student has much lesser knowledge than the doctor.. i can only talk to you and help you convey your problems to the doctor.. "

yups... oh wells... we have an exam on that in like 3 weeks... :) well done! :)

just finished Grease dance practice not long ago.. ahha.. it's good man.. it's good. :)

gonna let my hair dry while doing some reading and then go sleep.. 8am lect tmr and then... ANATOMY PRACTICAL!!! woohoo! tmr i will learn how to administer injections. whee.
