lap cheong... (oriental sausage)

the smell of formaldehyde... = smell of lap cheong.....

had a great brekkie with pancakes and museli... as always on thursdays... and reached school feeling pretty on form.. at least i know i can keep awake for an hour of lecture....

and so i did.. and after that i went back to IH and attempted to sleep. but went to the dining hall instead with Pat and ended up making a "mocha latte" for myself instead.. ahha.. (note the inverted commas)

WHAT A BAD IDEA MAN... had a headache and couldn't really get a peaceful sleep... did some reading and photocopying before sleeping..and dozed in and out for about an hour before waking up and realising that i didn't want to eat sandwich so ate some muesli bar that i have in my room and went for anatomy prac.

woohoo..

went school and bought a packet of chips. -_-

and felt really giddy and stuff... it's the aftermath of the heavily caffeinated drink i had... so throughout the briefing for anatomy i was actually feeling quite nauseous... he was teaching us how to administer intradermal/intramuscular/intra-venous injections... and how to suture up... yups. and then we had a lecture on how to look at xrays and MRIs.. and ultrasounds... and nobody was paying attention because we didn't know what we need to know! as in.. the lecture was really disorganised.. but anyways... we had the briefing and then proceded to the dissecting room... where we were to do all those injections and suturing with our assigned cadaver....

we had to make an incision to find the appendix (is that how we spell it? hmm.)... and i made the first cut haha.. and after that we couldn't find it.. and yea.. it was my fault. :( haha.. was done too far towards the hip bone side.. but then again, the belly button of the cadaver was displaced.. so yea. oh wells. :( so after cutting it up, we had to suture it back. OH BOY. yups. it's interesting though.. suturing. u need the dexterity man. :)

it's interesting how we have to tie the knot. that's the hard part.

breathing was difficult infront of the cadaver... there was this time i felt some pain in my diaphragm area when i breathed in really hard.. and i didn't dare to breathe in that hard after that.. yups.. injections were easily done.. yups.. needs stable hands though..

went for pizza (half price on thursdays!) with Tim, Jielin, Ravind and Jiawei...

the cheese smelt of formalin.. and yea.. it just didn't go away. :( ah.... spoilt my appetite... ew.

came back to IH and had choir prac... haha... SO MANY ALTOS... like 6 of us.. and 3 sops.. and 4 tenors and 4 basses... "seasons of love" from "rent".... :)

then helped to make the car for "grease" dance.. and had Grease dance prac. yups. *tired*.. .but i love it cos everyone.. though tired.. make it a point to give their BEST shot.. and no complains.. no whatsoever.. that's the spirit man. :)

gonna try sleep soon.. (i think).. no no.. gonna do some research.. and then maybe study for another HP test on monday. yups....
