reignite the fire.

just came back from the first day of the International Piano Festival at VCH... tonight featured a Korean pianist who started performing at ten. honestly, boring tunes of first half, needed stamina to listen, but his Rachmaninov PIano Sonata No.1 was great. firm touch, enough aggression without seeming like he was banging on the piano... was great. definitely great. it was the first piano concert i went to where the audience cheered ahhaha.. so funny.

went there pretty early. was watching the crowd go by. i have this thing about observing people. scary? abit. but it's fine.. i don't scrutinise. ;) saw a few familiar faces... like i'll see them at certain concerts... i would think i will see loads more on sunday. then i'll decide whether i feel like i'm still in the "league" or not.

long day tmr. :)

gonna sleep.

i guess we all have to learn how to spend money in a way that won't incur the wrath of others. why would you want to spend money on impulse, on something that you have so many of? why can't we all have a bit more discipline in spending money? especially when we aren't out in the working world, earning and saving and buying. even so, what gives us the right to keep buying stuff and then don't wear? and then keep saying "oh the ones i used to buy not nice..." when u keep buying the same stuff?

or was it just pure retail therapy? why can't we exercise a bit of discipline?

hai.
