oh rainy days....

i don't like the rain when all i want is the sun.

but it's nice cos it's cooling... and i am actually feeling cold in Singapore. somehow. :)

packing is never much fun. most of the time i would rather just sit in one corner and just re-organise stuff... but not taking things out and having to decide what to keep and how to keep and what to throw...

it is very nice to see my niece today. seeing her grown up a bit, and very much cheerful and outgoing and less shy towards me... it's a warm feeling. playing with her and seeing her get so excited over little plastic accessories... and how she instinctively looks for her mum when she coughs... just makes me think about how much one seeks security and comfort in times of fear.

i want my birkenstocks.
