education....

had an interesting 3 hours this afternoon... i marvel at the young minds.

You can teach them the wrong thing you know. like my sis was saying that her friend taught her cousin (or some relative) that red is blue and blue is red. and of cos she had a good scolding from her aunt. hha. but yea, why didn't anyone think of teaching the kids that 3+1=2 and 4-3=7?

okays that is because it doesn't make sense in the first place right? okays, but maybe u can teach them that plus is minus and minus is plus. haha. okays, mr ong, i am just blabbering.

is it also always the case that the first born is always very sheltered and less adventurous than the second born? due to the amount of care and protection given to the infant stage of the child's life?

and i was commenting to my sis... "maybe i'll experiment on my kids next time.. the first born i'll just heck care him/her, and then protect the second one a lot more.. see whether there'll be a change in their characters... " guess what my sis said.. "crazy ah.. experiment on ur own kids... "

haha but all in all, it's VERY FULFILLING to know that the kids understand what you've taught them. very. but tiring haha. :)
