to keep finding things to do.. is somewhat of a headache.
to live each day without an aim, seems aimless (duh)
yet i do enjoy my break. not many people have this privilege of spending such a long time nua-ing... but i guess i'm lucky enough.
finally some sunshine after the rain, hopefully no more icky muddy puddles and more sun! it's depressing to see rain every single day. your mind gets all down and the optimistic part of the brain has to keep fighting away the domineering pessismistic ones.
January seems to be flying really fast. but i can't remember what i did the minute i came back last year nov. hmm. maybe i should start playing computer games, since there's a link between gamers and good memory. something to do with theta brainwaves or something. but then again, i know of too many gamers who are REALLY FORGETFUL. or maybe they're just one-track minded.
ever tried going around the malls these days? especially the foodie part where loads of different confectionary shops display their different CNY goodies. I was walking around the basement of taka today and BOY, there is competition. and it's quite funny cos they were all shoving samples into our faces.. "you want to try?" "this one very nice one... "... AND i saw this really GREEDY singaporean. someone who wore high heels... i should have paid attention to her accessories.. but her makeup was HORRENDOUS. eyeshadow was purple and covered the whole eyelid and beyond. should be in early 30s... keep asking to try the goodies... and not taking ONE sample... but a handful from one box. URGH. so disgusting. and then i saw her walking away.. still munching the goodies and picking from her handful. i was so grossed out. ew. never ever be like that.
and on the topic of CNY goodies... i'm on a "get fat" mission. set by my dearest dad. after dinner, he asked.. "do u want to eat cheng teng?" and after that.. "you want to eat goreng pisang?" "u want to eat fruits?" sigh. so much care and concern just that i have my own fears too ahha :)
okays. looking forward to a new week! urgh. so fast so fast.
