the beaches...

You'll remember me when the west wind moves
Among the fields of barley
You can tell the sun in his jealous sky
When we walked in fields of gold

So she took her love for to gaze awhile
Among the fields of barley
In his arms she fell as her hair came down
Among the fields of gold

Will you stay with me will you be my love
Among the fields of barley
And you can tell the sun in his jealous sky
When we walked in fields of gold

I never made promises lightly
And there have been some that I've broken
But I swear in the days still left
We will walk in fields of gold
We'll walk in fields of gold

I never made promises lightly
And there have been some that I've broken
But I swear in the days still left
We will walk in fields of gold
We'll walk in fields of gold

Many years have passed since those summer days
Among the fields of barley
See the children run as the sun goes down
As you lie in fields of gold

You'll remember me when the west wind moves
Among the fields of barley
You can tell the sun in his jealous sky
When we walked in fields of gold
When we walked in fields of gold
When we walked in fields of gold -- "Fields of Gold" by Sting

what a lovely song by Sting. the cover version by Eva Cassidy conveys a multitude of emotions together with the lyrics. I reckon it's the perfect 'walk-down-the-aisle' song as compared to the good ole canon in D that's been overused.

meanwhile, my summer holiday plans seems to.. take its own course. will be in artsy europe from 16th dec till 9th jan! looking very much forwards to it. but not to the period leading up to going home to the land of my beloved 'quack quack noodles'... the headache of finding a place before leaving for home accumulates as the rental market refuses to open up. at least at the area me and eels want to live at.

can't wait for cheaper fruit prices!!!

and warmer weather!!!

and less flies.
