long day.

okie, now about my day.

had a great morning lazing, then went for work. heh. the other students of the sch were rehearsing for an item to be acted out tmr, during national day celebrations in school. they make the students act out the marriage rituals of chinese, eurasian, malay and indian cultures. haha. they are really adorable!!!

they had this plump little girl, dressed in red, to read out the chinese traditional ritual... she was reciting out the lines, and she almost forgot one, and she wondered out loud "and the next line is..." (in a softer tone & into the mic).. ahah. then she said the next line out. simply hilarious.

and well, the eurasian tradition is the church wedding.. that's what the students said,.. and they had his lovely little girl with a pink veil... then they had a primary six boy ( well, looks like P6 cos of his size) to act as the priest, and read the vows, and asking the "bride" and "groom" whether they are willing to take each other as their lawful wedded husband/wife... to honour them to.... etc... and i turned to the choir teacher i/c after the poor students acting said "I DO", i asked," er, isn't it a bit too early for the kids to go through all these?" ahah then when the "priest" said "you can exchange your wedding rings... " the students cheered them on... AND! this.

"you may now kiss the bride.."

ahah. the other students went mad with laughter, while the teachers were trying to tell the "groom" to lift the veil with both hands and not using one...and i heard some boys shouting "french! french! french!", and others went into a chant "kiss the bride! kiss the bride! kiss the bride!" ahah. HILARIOUS.

and i was visibly shocked/ amused... well. shocked that the primary school boys know "French" and amused cos ahah it was really funny heh.

the indian wedding procession was so funny. they had like groups of boys in two lines, jumping up and down looking like they are jumping on hot coal...

the poor groom for the malay wedding was hanging his head low cos his friends were jeering him "eH! benjamin! i didn't know u are married! wah!"
and he just kept his head hung low. Heh....

okie.. that's work. well.. the entertainment we got while we were waiting for our turn.

then. after dinner went heartland mall for practice at the exam studio.
boy am i tired. i lost a bit of focus. it's hard. i shall build up my stamina.

and stamina comes with sleep. night! :)
