dearest all who have been faithfully waiting for updates =x
i FINALLY got my internet up and running at home.. thanks to the constant hounding by prateek to the isp personnel, we finally got the technician to step into our place and help us to set it up :) apparently it only took him 5 mins to do so grr.
it has already been a month back. wow. remember how the first week was spent setting the place up, going to ikea, thanks to the availability of the little red car. me and prateek carried the dining table set back from ikea, together with a 3drawer chest and a mirror and a bookshelf :D i had muscles after that saturday... but it disappeared.
just a bit of photos to wet the appetite of anyone who's wondering about how my place looks like. took those photos with my new phone-nokia 6120 classic (my SE w850i died on me.. need to get it repaired) and i think they look pretty good. yes i have a digi piano.. a kawai.. it has been great and serving me well.. can do magic too! ;) and there's my desk from my friend who didn't need it.. YES it is MESSY i hadn't cleared it for a long time.. and then there's my dining table which is MESSY too because we just dump a lot of things on it when we come back.. flowers were from kimmy.. they died cos the water dried up (i'm not a very good keeper of flowers =x) then there's finally the griller machine- George Foreman! which is lovingly called 'georgie' by the owner (not me) but it was a steal at a suburb big w ($20 off!!) and it cooks REALLY well. like. superb. meat is kept succulent and juicy while supposedly "knocking out the fat!" PLUS it takes like less than 5 mins to cook a piece of meat? grilled veg is possible with georgie as well. mum and dad if u two do come over u'll DEFINITELY have one meal by Georgie. ahhaha. then it's just one random saturday breakfast! haha. bacon contributed by yingyi and the rest are fresh from vic market. that's what you get by going to the market early on saturday morning... you have time for breakfast- at 10am! :D and it's like the big aussie breakfast w/o heavy price :D
in any case, life's been great. i'm having fun living out of IH though i do miss it, i don't miss how hectic it is. though i need to walk 50mins to work each morning, i relish the time i have to myself, musing at all others rushing to work in the city.. laughing at those stuck in the traffic jam along victoria st. muaha.
i just cannot wait to get into the swing of clinical schools! it's.. 4 months away!!!!!!!!!
